Greeting Heatwaves families, 

We hope this email finds you all well. We share concerns with you regarding the upcoming swim season; we are doing our best to keep up with the changes and recommendations from the CDC and Harris County for various activities and gatherings. 

The following scheduled events have been postponed indefinitely: BINGO fundraiser (April 3), and Parent Info Meeting (April 9). We will update you via email when these events have been rescheduled. For those that have paid their admission to the BINGO Night fundraiser, you have two options: 1) request a full refund, or 2) wait for new date to be announced and then decide if you want to hold your reservation or request a refund at that time. 

Please take a moment to communicate with any businesses that have provided you with donations and ensure them that their donations are appreciated and will be used at our event when it is safe to host. 

NWAL board members met yesterday to discuss the effects of the COVID-19 flu on the 2020 season. This is what they have decided: 

Practice may begin on Tuesday, May 12 

First meet: Saturday, May 23 

So we can better prepare for the season, we encourage you to register your swimmers via the SwimTopia website at heatwaves.swimtopia.com. Please log in with the same email and password from the previous season so that your swimmer(s) information links to the current season. Contact Nicole Dorsey or Tara Haire if you are not able to access your account and have tried all possible email addresses (including spouses).

  At the end of the registration process you will be prompted to pay by credit card or check. If you do not wish to pay your registration fees at this time, please select “check” as your option and complete the check out process. We will collect your payment at a later date. Your registration form will still be submitted and will remain pending until payment has been made. You may submit payments via check to Tara Haire, 14815 Silver Sands Street.
