Hi everyone! 2023 swim season is almost here! I apologize if you are receiving this email twice...I am sending it to all parents from the 2022 season and then another email to 2023 parents.

If you have not yet registered, registration is now open! You may go to www.heatwaves.swimtopia.com to register. Please note that we have added a $25 per swimmer equipment fee so that we can replace our old equipment as needed.

We will be having a mandatory parent meeting on April 6 and April 13. We ask that at least one parent attend one of these meetings. There will be a great deal of information shared regarding the season. In addition, Kiefer Aquatics/Swimshops of the Southwest (5010-M Louetta Rd., Spring, TX; 281-376-4460) will be at the April 13th meeting for you to purchase swimsuits. If you are not able to purchase your swimsuit on that day, you can go directly to the swimshop to purchase it. I have attached a picture of our official suit and there is also a picture on the website, but any green and black suit will be fine for meets. In addition, if you have old suits that you don't know what to do with, please bring them to the parent meeting, as it might be just the right size for another child!

On another note, we need officials for this upcoming year!! If you are interested, please contact Cory Andrews ([email protected]) for next steps. This is an incredibly important job and we can't have the meets without officials! In addition, if anyone is interested in learning about the computer job, please reach out to me at [email protected]. This is my last year and I would love to start teaching someone the ropes this year. Honestly, it's not a bad job at all! After this year, there will be some openings on the Board, so please start thinking about the possibility of your involvement on the Board for next year.
