Dear Heatwaves Family,

Welcome to the 2024 swim season! We are so excited to get this swim season started and this year we wanted to put a focus on FUNDRAISING for our team.

It is our goal to be able to have enough funds to provide support for fun events as well as much needed equipment for our swimmers. Unfortunately, money doesn’t grow on trees so we need everyone to help reach our team goal. We have the following events planned this year; Swim-A-Thon and 2 night golfs vs one night in previous years.

Our top priority is a new starter, time drop timers,  swim fins, and two small sections of lane lines for the shallow and deep ends of the pool. However, funds also go toward other events supporting our swimmers throughout the season and supporting our outgoing seniors with scholarships to just name.

Swim-A-Thon is much like an elementary school fundraiser. It is where each athlete gets someone to pledge $XX per lap/length of pool or they may also get a flat rate donation.

Our GOAL is $100 per swimmer!

if you have not recieved a packet, there is an electonic form attached. Donors can pay by cash, check or scan our QR code on top of the fundraiser page. We just ask if using the QR code you please tell your donor to notate what swimmer they are supporting.

We plan to give out prizes for the TOP 3 kids with the most donations! We hope we can get the kids excited and into that racing spirit while raising money for their team. 

Receipts are always available for tax purposes. Donors can e-mail Mary Nowak ([email protected]) and she will send them a receipt for their tax records. Hearthstone Heatwaves is a registered organization under the IRS code 501c3.
